Tasting Notes
This a dark red inky colored wine. Red fruits and sweet herbs mixed with a mineral note start off followed with spicy fruits, blueberry, dried raspberries, and some cocoa. The palate starts off with a mix of dried cherry, oak and dark chocolate. The oak tannins combine with the fruit, the layers complete a rich complexity that evolves as the wine aerates. The finish is long with silky smooth tannins.

Winemaker Notes
Cabernet Sauvignon is popular for a reason. The wines drink great in their youth and have the ability to age gracefully for decades. It is a pleasure to work with amazing fruit.
This is a blend of our favorite barrels from our best lots. We have been exploring with new blocks in the vineyard and love how blending them together creates a rich full expression of our site. This is a combination of plantings from 1998, 2003, and 2007, and 2016. Each block is in a different location of the vineyard and has a unique profile it adds to the wine.
This is the first vintage we fermented some of our Cabernet in Concrete fermentation tanks. This brings out more minerality and fruit in the wine. Blending with lots aged in new and used French Oak barrels helps create a well-balanced wine.
This vintage should age well for 7-10 years.
