Tasting Notes
The wine has a delicate pink rose color reminiscent of Provence. Aromas of tart red fruits, strawberry, cranberry, rose petal, and lemon zest. Citrus flavors combined with cranberry finish with a beautiful crisp acidity. An excellent balance from start to finish the wine lingers on the tongue and lips.

Winemaker Notes
I have continually evolved my approach to making this Rose and have found an expression I really enjoy. A big key to creating the type of Rose I want is picking when there is enough intensity of flavor, high natural acidity and not too much sugar. The grapes were handpicked and delivered to the winery where they were loaded into the press. After pressing the wine was cold soaked for a few days before starting the fermentation. A long cool ferment ensued, helping preserve the delicate aromas and flavors of the wine. The wine was filtered prior to bottling. 100% Barbera this is truly an expression of what a single varietal Rose can taste like from Coyote Canyon Vineyards. I hope you enjoy drinking this as much I enjoyed making it.
