Vineyard Notes
2015 was the warmest vintage in Washington State. The spring was warm and wet, which set up the crop for a great season. The red grapes were picked in early September in order to capture the deepest of flavors. This vintage shows a lot of big fruit characteristics.
Winemaker Notes
I love the diversity of a Washington Syrah. It has great color, vibrant aromas, and deeply intense flavors. It works well as a blending component, but also stands alone. We have been evolving our techniques with this grape. It has great intensity and structure.
