Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Ripe Marion berry, baked pie and a mild oak spice aromas. The wine has a full bodied entry with flavors of red fruit, chocolate and coffee. A little spice at the finish adds depth and complexity to the wine. Great acidity adds to a nice finish making it seem a little lighter than the first taste. This is a wine that should pair nicely with roasted lamb.

Winemaker Notes
This is the first Barbera wine made at Coyote Canyon Winery and it shows great potential as another varietal that can do well. The wine was aged in mostly neutral French oak barrels for approximately 20 months. With a fruit forward style the wine is drinking excellent right now but should hold up for 5-7 years.
