2011 CCW Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine has been cellared in our warehouse for a few years to help the acid mellow and tannins balance with the fruit. Aromas of black pepper, oak, dried cherries, currents, leather, smoke and earth reveal themselves as the wine fills the glass. Because of the cooler vintage this Cabernet is more medium bodied and elegant. The subtle nuances of the wine reveal themselves over time and the finish is nice and complex. A good example of old-world style mixed with new world flavors. This wine will pair nicely with a good steak, keep it simple.
